We are currently searching for a Business Manager to join the Far North Far West team on a full-time term basis.

This role is primarily based at the Adelaide Office, but you will have the opportunity to travel to Coober Pedy and the APY Lands.

As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead a team to ensure the effective coordination and delivery of a range of efficient administrative support functions, information technology (IT) and Work Health and Safety (WHS) services and human resources processes.
• Contributing to the development, review and implementation of business planning outcomes.
• Analysing financial reports and preparation of monthly income and expenditure reporting requirements.
• Overseeing the preparation of employment contracts, payroll documentation and reports.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Experience in developing effective working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. 
• Knowledge of government accounting standards and policies.
• Experience in planning, preparation and reporting of budget allocations.

The Far North Office covers a large area, encompassing Coober Pedy, Oodnadatta and the APY lands. It is a diverse office consisting of two child protection teams who work on a FIFO roster of 8 days on, 6 days off. The Far North Office has a strong, workplace culture of supporting one another, and maintains good partnerships with other government and non-government agencies in town. This collaborative way of working helps the team build strong connections with the community, including the local Aboriginal communities it serves.
