The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Senior Briefing Officer to join our team within the Office of the Chief Executive on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:
- Maintaining professional relationships with the Minister’s Office, government and non-government agencies, and the community.
- Demonstrating leadership in managing workloads and responding to urgent matters while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Applying relevant legislation, policies and procedures whilst appropriately managing resources and risks.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
To be successful, you will have:
- Demonstrated knowledge in presenting complex issues clearly through concise, high-quality written reports, recommendations, and briefing notes.
- Skills in analysing complex information, framing issues effectively, and developing practical, actionable solutions.

- Experience in providing clear, high-quality written materials, briefings, and responses to various correspondence.
