Our team in Port Lincoln have multiple Case Worker positions available to support the delivery and maintenance of high-quality standards of care for children and young people. These roles support children and young people in care, while also strengthening family relationships in a culturally appropriate manner.

The Port Lincoln office is in a newly renovated workspace in the town centre business hub close to essential services, cafes, restaurants and hotels. As a member of this team, you will work within a thriving environment of supportive and passionate professionals delivering services and contributing to improving outcomes for families and children throughout the Eyre Peninsula community.
The Port Lincoln office currently employs approximately 24 people and is a quick one-minute walk from the foreshore beach, offering opportunities to enjoy relaxing lunch breaks watching the seals and dolphins playing in the bay. Working With Us in Regional South Australia
In this role, you will:
- Work within a case management framework to support children and their families
- Use a range of professional interventions and case work techniques
- Visit children in care and provide support and assistance as required
- Connect clients to appropriate services, as well as formal and informal community networks
- Provide culturally appropriate and aware services.
To be successful, you will have:
- Experience in handling conflict and managing challenging behaviours
- A commitment to developing and maintaining positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- The ability to support child safety outcomes for families who live in remove Aboriginal communities
- Knowledge of the Children and Young People (Safety) Act (CYPS) Act and Families and Communities Act.
