The Quality and Safeguarding Directorate is currently seeking a Lead Project Officer to join their team on a full-time term basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the development and implementation of projects to achieve quality outcomes using endorsed project management standards.
- Providing an effective consultation service and engage with a broad range of stakeholders to meet their business needs.
- Conducting high-level research to support the provision of advice to the continuous improvement of policies, programs and projects.
- Participating in the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure quality outcomes are achieved for clients of the department.
- Delivering clear, detailed and timely reports, memos, letters and briefings whilst monitoring appropriate follow-up actions for management.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in developing, leading and implementing successful programs of work and/or projects.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in delivering strategic and operational outcomes in a sensitive and complex environment.
- Proven experience in providing concise and comprehensive written and verbal briefings.
- Expertise in demonstrating judgment in the prioritisation of work activities in an environment of competing priorities.
