The Department for Child Protection is looking for an Access Worker to join the Berri office on a part-time ongoing basis.
As an Access Worker you will have the opportunity to work with children and young people and their parents and carers, by supporting the facilitation of appropriate access arrangements in line with guidelines, whilst balancing the needs of children and their families.
In this role you will organise access visits, including transporting children and recording interactions, and you will also organise and facilitate access activities to maximise the safe and appropriate conduct of visits.
To be successful in this role, you will use your communication skills to work with a range of key stakeholders, including children and their families to effectively plan and coordinate access visits. To be successful you will have the ability to manage workloads, organise, plan and prioritise work activities within tight timelines.
You will also have the ability to work collaboratively to develop effective working relationships with peers, staff and stakeholders, and a commitment to promoting and creating a safe and inclusive work environment.
