Our Blair Athol office is seeking expressions of interest for a Social Worker or Case Manager to join the team.
Working directly with children and families, you will help navigate challenges, build strengths and achieve positive outcomes. Your compassion and commitment will support lasting change and contribute to stronger families and communities.
This is a single vacancy offered under a dual classification. The successful applicant will be appointed at the appropriate classification level based on their qualifications, experience and suitability for the role.
In this role, you will:
- Use a solutions-based approach to case management
- Conduct investigations in a child-centred manner, with a focus on safety and support
- Assess and balance risk factors, considering family capacity, child safety and wellbeing
- Support children in care and assist families toward reunification where appropriate
- Prepare analysis-based reports and provide evidence in court proceedings where required.

You can assess needs, identify risks and respond appropriately to complex situations to support the safety and wellbeing of children and families. Strong time management skills enable you to manage competing priorities, maintain quality outcomes within required timeframes, and collaborate effectively across teams and services.
