The
Department for Child Protection is seeking a Senior Manager, Projects and Change Management, to join on a full-time ongoing basis. This is a newly created position that will lead,
manage and facilitate the successful delivery of the ICT portfolio of project
and change initiatives.
The
role is responsible for:
- Leading, developing, maintaining and monitoring effective
project service delivery models consisting of governance frameworks,
methodologies and processes.
- Defining high-level objectives and translating into
practical implementation strategies, undertaking effective research and analysis
to present findings and influencing outcomes to meet business needs.
- Working collaboratively with diverse groups of
stakeholders to develop and execute effective change management strategies and
plans.
- Providing timely and reliable strategic advice on
complex issues to the Chief Information Officer, the ICT Leadership Team and
governance committees to assist them in the discharge of their duties through
informed decision making, business planning and risk management.
About You
To be successful in
this role, you will have outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation
skills. A demonstrated ability to lead the development, implementation and
adoption of strategic and operation plans will be essential.
You will be outcome
driven with proven experience in monitoring and reporting on the progress of
initiatives, including identifying and responding to risks and issues that
threaten success.
You will have a detailed
knowledge of ICT program delivery related policies, guidelines and standards
and the ability to leverage these in an operation environment. This will guide your
decision making, support you to streamline internal processes and foster
continuous improvement.
