The Department for Child Protection is seeking a
Manager, Projects and Program Strategy, to join the Out of Home Care team on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:
- Providing high-level leadership and strategic direction to teams and programs of work.
- Leading the development of projects and strategies to implement agency goals and objectives and increase outcomes for families, children and young people.
- Monitoring and advising on activity and performance trends and developments in contemporary, quality child protection practice and implementing appropriate governance mechanisms.
- Representing DCP on state committees and working parties which impact on SA child protection matters.
About You
We are looking for a strategic leader with experience in project management and implementation.
To be successful in this role, you be able to demonstrate a high level of accountability and utilise sound decision making to solve complex problems and achieve objectives.
You will have excellent communication skills with a proven ability to liaise and negotiate with a diverse range of key stakeholders across the department and the wider public sector.
