Pedy/APY Lands
The Far
North office covers a large area, encompassing Coober Pedy, Oodnadatta and the
APY lands. It is a diverse office consisting of two Child Protection Teams who
work on a FIFO roster of 8 days on, 6 days off.
The Far
North office has a strong, workplace culture of supporting one another, and
maintains good partnerships with other Government and non-Government agencies
in town. This collaborative way of working helps the team build strong
connections with the community, including the local Aboriginal Communities it
serves.

Port
Augusta
Port
Augusta is 307 km from Adelaide and takes just over 3 hours to drive or a short
50 minute flight from Adelaide. The Port Augusta office employs approximately
34 people and is one of six offices in the region. As a member of this office
you will work with other professionals to deliver services to Port Augusta,
Iron Knob, Roxby Downs, Woomera, Andamooka, Quorn, Leigh Creek, Hawker and up
to Maree (and everywhere else in-between!).

Whyalla
Whyalla
is located 395kms North West from Adelaide on Eyre Peninsula’s Spencer Gulf or
a short 30 minute flight from Adelaide. The town’s population of 22,000 makes
it the third most populous city in the state of South Australia behind Adelaide
