The
Department for Child Protection is currently seeking an Executive Assistant to the Regional Director to join on a full-time term basis.
The role is
responsible for:
- Arranging
timely scheduling of appointments, arranging meetings and obtaining all
required documentation and preparing correspondence on behalf of the Regional
Director.
- Liaising,
coordinating and negotiating with relevant agency staff, Ministerial staff and
other relevant public sector personnel on confidential matters related to the
unit.
- Preparation
of agenda papers and undertaking and monitoring appropriate follow up action
for committees.
- Providing
comprehensive administrative support services relating to human resources including
maintenance of personal files, salary information systems and staff audits.

will also have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in
writing to a wide range of key internal and external stakeholders.
