Bring your creativity to a role where your work truly matters. Based in Adelaide, the Graphic Designer plays a key part in shaping the visual identity of the Department for Child Protection. Working within Strategic Communications in the Communications and Engagement Team, you will support the Communications and Engagement team to deliver engaging design solutions across print, digital, events and campaigns. This is an opportunity to create meaningful visual content that strengthens community connection and helps share the important work of the department.
In this role, you will
- Design and produce a wide range of branded collateral for print, digital and online use
- Support events, campaigns and publications with high quality creative assets
- Maintain visual consistency across all materials in line with branding guidelines
- Develop layouts, templates and multimedia tools that meet client needs
To be successful
You will bring hands on experience in graphic or visual design along with strong technical skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat workflows. You communicate clearly, collaborate well with others and can translate briefs into polished, purposeful creative outcomes.
In this mid level role you will work both independently and within a supportive team environment. You will be confident managing competing priorities, solving design challenges and producing high quality work within deadlines. Your understanding of design principles, contemporary branding and print or digital production will help you deliver consistent and meaningful visual content across the department.
