Our Noarlunga Office is seeking a Supervisor to lead a dynamic team and provide strong leadership to drive performance and development. You will play a crucial part in overseeing professional social work and case management practice while ensuring high standards are maintained. You will also contribute to developing services that are relevant, inclusive, and accessible to a diverse range of clients.
Essential Qualification:
- AHP (Allied Health Professional) positions require applicants to hold a Social Work qualification and be eligible for full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
In this role, you will:
- Provide effective leadership by facilitating goal setting, resolution of conflict, control of work pressure and assisting in the management of change.
- Promote high-quality social work practice by supporting culturally appropriate intervention methodologies within a holistic framework.
- Deliver services that promote the safety, security and wellbeing of children, young people and their families.
- Contribute to an environment where staff are encouraged to develop their competence and are provided with opportunities for development.
- Deliver inclusive, culturally appropriate services that support participation, with a focus on disabled and Aboriginal clients.
About You:
- You will have the ability lead and develop staff to achieve quality results through orientation, legislative guidance, staff development, and appraisal.
- You will be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- You have proven experience in supervising a team, managing varied workloads, and conflict resolution in order to achieve required outcomes.
- You have the ability to lead a culturally competent practice including the provision of training and mentorship.
- You will have the ability to identify current and/or potential team conflicts and implement strategies to guide and support team members.
