Our People and Culture Directorate is seeking a Senior Diversity and Inclusion Consultant to join the team in the Adelaide CBD. The role is accountable for the proactive initiation, delivery and evaluation of diversity and inclusion initiatives across the organisation. The purpose of the role is to deliver initiatives that build a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture.
In this role, you will:
- Provide advice and support to leaders, colleagues and internal stakeholders on matters relating to diversity and inclusion
- Facilitate diversity and inclusion programs to improve organisational capability and competency
- Develop diversity and inclusion initiatives to support leaders and drive performance improvement
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance the employee experience
- Ensure change management and consultation processes are undertaken to maximise effective implementation and change success.
To be successful:
You will bring a proven ability to design and deliver highly effective diversity and inclusion programs. You will have demonstrated experience delivering organisational strategies and initiatives that comply with legislative requirements, while proactively positioning diversity and inclusion at the centre of decision-making.
The role requires high-level interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people. In addition to effective communication skills, you will need experience coaching and mentoring business leaders through change management, team effectiveness and inclusive practices.
