The Department for Child Protection is seeking a
Financial Systems and Compliance Officer to join on a full-time term basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the strategic delivery of financial management across the department.
- Providing high-level advice and support in the context of finance policy, accounting, financial administration and internal controls.
- Reviewing financial record management systems and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
- Facilitating high quality, responsive and flexible financial transaction and reporting functions to meet division business requirements.
- Providing administrative support to senior staff and back-up support for other administration staff as required during busy periods.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in providing high quality administrative or financial support services.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively, both in person and in writing.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining electronic records and filing systems.
- Extensive knowledge of office administration and business support practices.
- Extensive understanding of SA Government financial and administrative procedures, systems and practices.
