The Department for Child Protection (DCP) is seeking a Contract Manager to work in the Adelaide CBD. The role is responsible for managing a range of DCP contracts, in addition to providing high-level advice on matters relating to contract management. The role also requires business relationship management between DCP and contracted service providers, who provide a range of out of home care services for children and young people under the guardianship or custody of the Chief Executive.
In this role, you will:
- Lead contract negotiations using technical contract management skills
- Provide advice to senior management on contracting and performance management issues
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with DCP business units to ensure performance issues are addressed
- Participate in the implementation of systems and processes that result in continuous quality improvement
- Prepare briefings and reports that provide recommendations on matters relating to contract management.
