Join the Department for Child Protection’s Adelaide team as an Executive Assistant to the Regional Director on a full-time term basis.
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Regional Director, helping to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.
In this role, you will:
- Manage timely scheduling of appointments, arrange meetings, prepare correspondence, and organise all necessary documentation on behalf of the Regional Director.
- Liaise and negotiate with agency staff, Ministerial offices, and other public sector personnel on confidential matters relating to the unit.
- Prepare agenda papers for committees, and monitor follow-up actions to ensure tasks are completed.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for human resources functions, including maintaining personal files, salary systems, and conducting staff audits.
To be successful:
You’ll be a confident communicator with experience providing high-quality, confidential executive support while managing a busy and varied workload. You have strong attention to detail and are skilled at producing reports, briefing papers, and managing records effectively.
You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, engaging well with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. If you have experience in administrative roles and thrive on organisation and precision, this role is for you.
