The Department for Child Protection is seeking multiple
Senior Care Concern Officers to join the team at our office in Adelaide CBD.
The role is responsible for:
- Act to safeguard children and young people after receiving care concerns and make thorough assessments of referrals.
- Contributing to business improvement by identifying and assessing issues in practice, policy, service, and systems from care concern management.
- Providing strategic and operational advice to senior management on managing care concerns.
- Providing consultation and guidance to a broad range of stakeholders in relation to the procedural responses and administrative management of care concern matters.
About You
To be successful in this role, you need to have exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate on highly sensitive and complex issues in a clear and concise manner with key stakeholders. You will use your conflict management, negotiation and influencing skills to convey critical information in a clear, brief, and timely fashion.
You will also have high level assessment and report writing skills and the ability to summarise critical information including identifying risks and the impact on the safety of children.
