Our Woodville team is seeking expressions of interest for a Senior Social Worker (Allied Health Professional) or Senior Case Manager (Professional Officer). This is an opportunity to contribute your skills and experience, share your knowledge and play an active role in strengthening practice.
As a senior member of the team, you will provide professional guidance and support to colleagues, contribute to informed decision-making, and use your expertise to support quality practice. You will play an important role in promoting a collaborative culture and supporting the ongoing development of capability.
This is a single vacancy offered under a dual classification. The successful applicant will be appointed at the appropriate classification level based on their qualifications, experience and suitability for the role.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading meaningful casework that supports the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
- Undertaking assessments and investigations that place children at the centre of decision-making
- Partnering with families to identify strengths, address concerns and support positive change
- Collaborating with carers, communities and service providers to achieve better outcomes
- Making informed decisions in response to child protection concerns and emerging information.
