Income & Benefits
- Salary: AHP4 $118,887 - $129,427 p.a. plus 12% super
- Exclusive Allowance: Extra 4% for child protection practice leaders, permanently enshrined in the Enterprise Agreement, making DCP the highest-paying government employer in SA
- Leave Loading: Applicable in line with Enterprise Agreement
- Professional Development: $1,000 allowance (increasing each year) plus reimbursement of PD expenses up to $1,500 (AHP4 level)

Relocation Assistance & Incentives: Regional incentive payments, government housing, or rental support (for regional/remote roles only)
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage complex DFV issues, providing innovative solutions aligned with DCP objectives.
- Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to staff and Practice Leaders to enhance understanding of DFV impacts on children and families.
- Develop and promote a learning culture, sourcing training and supporting reflective practice.
- Lead case reviews, audits, and policy improvements to strengthen child protection practice.
- Foster collaborative relationships across teams, agencies, and stakeholders to drive practice excellence.
- Model leadership and culturally safe practice, supporting staff development and performance.
To be successful:
You are a highly accomplished Practice Leader with a proven record of driving practice excellence in child protection and domestic and family violence. You combine extensive experience in DFV, child protection, and trauma-informed practice with the ability to deliver strategic advice, lead complex projects, and influence policy and program development.
You are an inspiring leader and mentor who coaches and develops others with integrity. Your leadership strengthens teams, promotes reflective practice, and builds workforce capability, confidence, and excellence across DCP.
