- Respond sensitively to client enquiries, including managing distressed or challenging behaviour.
- Assess client needs and refer matters to Social Workers or appropriate services.
- Assist families with connecting to community and support services.
- Support case planning activities and supervised access arrangements.
To be successful:
You will be someone who communicates clearly and confidently with people from diverse backgrounds and works effectively as part of a team. You are comfortable engaging with children, families and professionals, including situations where people may be distressed or require additional support. You understand the importance of respectful, culturally aware practice and client focused service delivery.
You will bring knowledge of child development, positive parenting approaches and the factors that can impact family relationships. You are able to assess situations, gather information, and take practical steps to resolve issues or refer matters appropriately.
