The Department for Child Protection is seeking Business Managers to join the Residential Care unit’s recruitment pool.
The roles are responsible for:
- Leading a team to ensure the effective coordination and delivery of a range of efficient administrative support functions, information technology (IT) and Work Health and Safety (WHS) services, human resources processes and documentation.
- Contributing to the development, review and implementation of business planning outcomes.
- Analysing financial reports and preparation of monthly income and expenditure reporting requirements.
- Maintaining IT systems within the Office in conjunction with Corporate IT staff and coordinate resolutions to hardware and software problems within the office.
About You
We are looking for a confident individual who has the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and communicate effectively with a diverse range of relevant stakeholders at all levels.
You will have a demonstrated ability to work effectively to achieve positive business results by delivering effective outcomes.
To be successful you will have proven experience in the planning, preparation and reporting of budget allocations, as well as knowledge of government accounting standards and policies.
This will be supported by your experience in reviewing existing work practices, systems and procedures in pursuit of best practice opportunities.
