The Department for Child Protection is seeking a
Business Coordinator to join on a full-time term basis.
This role is responsible for:
- Providing administrative management and support for staff and resources within the Quality and Practice Directorate.
- Assisting with budget preparation in consultation with the Directorate Business Manager, including processing invoices and reimbursements.
- Overseeing the preparation of employment contracts, reports and workforce data statistics.
- Undertaking reviews of existing work practices and recommending strategies to improve the overall efficiency of the unit.
About You
We are looking for an organised individual with experience in the planning, preparation and reporting of budget allocations and knowledge of government accounting standards and practice.
Our ideal candidate with have proven experience in providing advice in line with various aspects of HR, such as Equal Opportunity legislation and the Public Sector Management Act.
Your ability to develop effective working relationships and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to staff at all levels is highly desirable.
