The Department for Child Protection (DCP) is seeking a Program Manager to join the Office of the Chief Operating Officer a full-time term basis.

The role is responsible for:

• Providing high level strategic advice to the Chief Operating Officer across all areas of corporate governance.
• Liaising with senior executives regarding a range of complex strategic and operational matters.
• Leading sensitive and strategic corporate governance and policy initiatives on priority issues.
• Managing significant DCP projects to ensure that government initiatives are delivered on time and to a very high standard.

About You

We are looking for a strategic leader with significant project management experience within a human services system.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in change management with experience in leading successful organisational change initiatives.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will provide expert advice, engage with diverse staff, and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders.
