Income & Benefits
- Salary: AHP3: $104,180 – $116,216 p.a. + 12% super
- Exclusive Allowance: Extra 4% for child protection social workers, permanently enshrined in the Enterprise Agreement, making DCP the highest-paying government employer in SA
- Professional Development (PD) – a $1,000 allowance increasing incrementally each year + reimbursement of PD expenses up to $1,500 (AHP3 level)

In this role, you will
- Lead and coordinate Taikurtirna Warri-apinthi services across DCP and partner with ASPI and Guardianship teams to support quality outcomes.
- Review service delivery and implement proactive strategies that strengthen timely and culturally informed family finding responses.
- You will bring demonstrated experience in leading teams, guiding practice, and supporting staff to deliver quality and culturally informed services. Your ability to mentor others, identify training needs and strengthen capability will enable your team to provide consistent and timely outcomes.
- Build effective relationships with community, DCP offices, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, external partners to develop and support strong cultural relationships and networks.

You will bring demonstrated experience in leading teams, guiding practice and supporting staff to deliver quality and culturally respectful services. Your ability to mentor others, identify training needs and strengthen capability will enable your team to provide consistent and timely outcomes.
You will be confident in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders including Aboriginal families, community, government and non government agencies. Your understanding of cultural diversity, kinship systems and the factors impacting Aboriginal children and young people will support your ability to lead culturally competent practice across DCP.
Your strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise work and commitment to safe, inclusive environments will help maintain high standards of service delivery.
