Join the Quality and Safeguarding Directorate as the Director, and provide strategic leadership, management and implement quality systems to support high quality, culturally responsive and safe practices to support vulnerable children, young people and their families.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead the strategic development and oversight of policy, practice, service delivery and continuous quality improvement.
- Collect and analyse information to address emerging issues and enhance practice outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with staff and a broad range of key stakeholders.
- Oversee the Significant Incident Reporting Unit, Incident Management Unit and Quality of Care Unit.
- Enhance the quality and effectiveness of service delivery for children and young people involved with the Child Protection system.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Exceptional communication skills with the proven ability to liaise effectively with a broad range of key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in analysing complex issues, developing effective solutions and negotiating successful outcomes with innovation and resourcefulness.
- Extensive senior-level experience in policy, strategic planning and the development of innovative programs to drive impactful outcomes.
- Experience in driving reforms that promote transparency, effective implementation of legislation and delivery of effective practice outcomes.
