We are seeking a Case Worker to join the team at our St Marys Inner South office, where you will play a key role in promoting the safety, wellbeing and development of children and young people.

This role provides the opportunity to join a collaborative team, apply your professional skills, develop your experience and contribute to positive outcomes for children, young people and families.

In this role, you will:

• Work within a case management framework to support children and their families
• Use a range of professional interventions and case work techniques
• Visit children in care and provide support and assistance as required
• Connect clients to appropriate services, as well as formal and informal community networks
• Provide culturally appropriate and aware services.

About you:

• You have experience in handling conflict and managing challenging behaviours
• You show a commitment to developing and maintaining positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders
• You possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• You can support child safety outcomes for families who live in remote Aboriginal communities.
