Income & Benefits
- Salary: AHP2: $91,785 – $106,330 p.a. + 12% super
- Exclusive Allowance: Extra 4% for child protection social workers, permanently enshrined in the Enterprise Agreement, making DCP the highest-paying government employer in SA
- Professional Development (PD) – a $1,000 allowance increasing incrementally each year + reimbursement of PD expenses up to $1,000 (AHP2 level)

In this role, you will

To be successful
You will bring strong professional experience in social work and field education, with the ability to design, implement, and evaluate learning and supervision programs. Your background will include supervising social work students and applying sound professional judgement in child protection settings.
You will demonstrate well developed communication, consultation, and negotiation skills, enabling you to work effectively with universities, supervisors, and senior leaders. You will be confident managing competing priorities, maintaining accurate records, and delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes.
You will value collaboration, inclusivity, and cultural learning, with a clear commitment to creating safe, supportive, and respectful environments. You will contribute positively to team culture, support change, and promote ethical practice aligned with professional standards.
