Our People and Culture Directorate is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to play a pivotal role in driving the continuous improvement of our people systems and practices. This role will enable you to provide high-level advice and strategic guidance to a diverse range of stakeholders, directly contributing to the department’s commitment to safeguard vulnerable children and young people.
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives and support them to effectively manage people issues, systems and processes.
- Deliver high-level advice to leaders and senior executives across the full spectrum of the HR function.
- Coordinate and deliver robust merit selection processes that build a strong workforce and protect children from harm.
- Provide support to various stakeholders and enable them to build a workforce culture that promotes leadership and cultural competency.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in providing high-level support to leaders regarding disciplinary and unsatisfactory performance matters.
- Experience in developing and maintaining effective networks, alliances and operational relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of government legislation, policies, procedures and systems, including Public Sector principles and practices.
- Experience in the provision of high-level generalist HR advice to senior leaders across a diverse and complex organisation.
