Our ICT Directorate is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver a diverse portfolio of ICT projects. This pivotal role will ensure the successful delivery of strategic objectives, aligning project outcomes with organisational goals and contributing to the long-term vision of the directorate.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead and deliver a diverse portfolio of projects and ensure alignment to strategic objectives and organisational goals.
- Develop strategies and provide valuable ICT solutions that respond to organisational needs.
- Establish and maintain a strong partnership with the ICT Leadership Team to foster cohesive collaboration and strategic alignment.
- Design, implement and improve processes to monitor the performance of allocated projects.
- Manage risk across ICT projects through effective assessment, mitigation and implementation of correction strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in envisioning and leading the delivery of successful ICT solutions in complex environments.
- Strong financial intelligence skills and experience with budget estimation and management.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, implementation approaches and the application of modelling tools, principles and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and support stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the South Australian Government’s information security related policies, guidelines and standards.
