Join us at the Department for Child Protection’s Adelaide office as we expand our team with dedicated professionals who are passionate about quality, safeguarding, and improving outcomes for vulnerable children and families.
We’re looking for multiple skilled Quality and Safeguarding Co-ordinators to join our Incident Management Unit (IMU) on a full-time term basis, bringing strong analytical and quality assurance expertise to a key operational area.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute to the effective operation of the IMU, including applying reportable incident procedures and ensuring ongoing quality assurance of processes.
- Analyse the management of reportable incidents, support DCP managers with monitoring outcomes, action plans and related follow-up.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to develop, implement and conduct quality assurance and audit programs across the directorate.
- Monitor the client incident management system, and work closely with managers and reporters to ensure incidents are managed appropriately.
To be successful:
You bring strong analytical and assessment skills, with a solid understanding of quality improvement methods and the child protection system in South Australia. You can clearly present complex issues through high-quality written reports and confident oral presentations to a range of stakeholders.
You’re experienced in incident management and quality programs, and your communication skills allow you to build trust and clarity in challenging situations.
