Essential Qualification
- AHP (Allied Health Professional) positions are designed for applicants who hold a Social Work qualification and are eligible for full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Income & Benefits
- Salary: AHP2: $91,785 – $106,330 p.a. + 12% super
- Exclusive Allowance: Extra 4% for child protection social workers, permanently enshrined in the Enterprise Agreement, making DCP the highest-paying government employer in SA
- Professional Development (PD) – a $1,000 allowance increasing incrementally each year + reimbursement of PD expenses up to $1,000 (AHP2 level)

In this role, you will

To be successful
You will be a confident allied health professional with experience working across complex service systems. You will bring strong professional judgement and the ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary environment. Your practice will reflect a sound understanding of legislative responsibilities and the importance of timely, accurate advice.
You will have well developed knowledge of family law and child protection practice, including the interface between jurisdictions. You will be skilled in managing competing priorities, preparing clear written material for courts, and engaging effectively with government and non government stakeholders to manage risk and resolve issues.
You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, cultural capability and a commitment to inclusive practice. You will value collaboration, support continuous learning and contribute to a safe and respectful workplace.
