Our office based in Adelaide CBD is seeking a Carer Payments Officer to join our Finance and Corporate Services team on a full-time long term basis. The role requires providing efficient administrative and data processing support to ensure accurate and timely Carer Support Payments. This includes maintaining records, verifying placement data and supporting quality standards across the State-wide Out of Home Care system.
In this role, you will be:
- Providing timely, accurate and inclusive support to stakeholders including tailored solutions for diverse and disability needs.
- Processing Carer payments accurately and efficiently while providing a high standard of customer service.
- Providing financial support for the Carers Payment program, including reconciliations, resolving overpayments.
- Supporting system and data management by monitoring records, resolving issues and recommending improvements.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- You are able to work collaboratively within a professional team with a high level of professional and personal integrity.
- You have experience checking accuracy of information, follow policies and procedures to avoid errors.
- You can deliver administrative, client and records support in complex environments, with the ability to interpret and apply policies.
- You have proven experience in the use of a range of computer applications including client databases.
