The Significant Incident Coordinator, located in Adelaide within the Quality and Safeguarding directorate, is responsible for coordinating the management and reporting of significant incidents across DCP. The role supports executive decision making through timely assessment, reporting and analysis of incidents, trends and outcomes. It also contributes to quality assurance, process improvement and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support safe, consistent and effective practice.
In this role, you will
- Manage the client incident management system and related reporting processes
- Provide clear advice and analysis to support executive oversight
- Track significant incidents, court proceedings and related impacts
- Contribute to audits, reviews and continuous improvement activities
To be successful
You will be a capable and organised professional who is comfortable working with confidential material and high impact information. You can manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports, briefings and advice for a range of audiences. Your knowledge of child protection environments and risk-based practice will support effective incident management.
