Provide high level strategic and operational advice on
agency wide procurement and contracting functions and services.
DCP is seeking a Manager,
Performance & Finance,
to join their team on a Full Time Ongoing basis.
The role is responsible for:
- Managing the preparation of agency statements and end of month financial
variance analyses reports to the Department of Treasury and overseeing monthly
general ledger and business unit/ directorates budgets.
- Providing expert leadership and advice to the workgroup through
effective decision making and judgement of delegated authority relating to
workgroup outcomes, polices and processes, performance management and
development of staff and supporting improved performance and change management
initiatives.
- Leading financial improvement projects and financial advisory functions
across the Department and developing briefings to the Minister and DCP
Executives
- Managing the administration of Carer Payments, related services and data
systems.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have strong reporting
experience with exceptional analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking
skills, with a mindset for continuous improvement. You will be outcome driven
with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities with exceptional
leadership skills.
You will have extensive knowledge of whole of Government
financial management frameworks, systems associated Treasury instructions and
Australian Accounting Standards, with a passion for providing high quality and
best practice system reform.
