The Department for Child Protection is seeking
Human Resources Consultants to join on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:
- Ensuring that Government and Departmental HR policies and procedures are implemented in multiple areas including recruitment, salary, classification determinations and industrial matters.
- Conducting high quality investigations and research relating to Human Resources management activities.
- Assisting with the organisation and management of workforce data, FTE numbers and job vacancies.
- Undertaking classification and reclassification assessments.
- Liaising with managers to ensure unplaced employees are assisted with placement.
About You
To be successful in the role you will have experience in applying your knowledge of awards, legislation and policies to successfully achieve business requirements.
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to use initiative to
solve problems in line with people management principles and provide solutions that meet business needs.
You will also have experience in Human Resources Management platforms including CHRIS and e-Recruitment systems.
Your high-level interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively both verbally and in writing to a range of internal and external stakeholders will key to your success.
