- Managing contract renewal, replacement or renegotiation processes, including tender and renewal processes, contract and procurement negotiations.
- Leading and managing contract dispute resolution processes and negotiating outcomes that address contract performance issues and meet Department and Government requirements.
- Provide professional advice, education and consultancy services in relation to complex procurement and contracting matters to staff across DCP.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and review of contract and procurement strategies, policies, systems and processes and identify and mitigate procurement and contract risks.
We are looking for an individual who can use their initiative, manage up effectively, make evidence-based decisions, willing to learn, and enjoys working in a team.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience/skills in complex procurement activities, proven experience applying analytical thinking to resolve complex problems, and high quality written skills especially with contractual and procurement content. Experience/knowledge of South Australian procurement frameworks is ideal but not required.
