The HR Operations Team is currently seeking a Senior HR Business Partner on a full time ongoing basis.
The role is responsible for:
- Delivering strategic initiatives and specialist programs by working in partnership with leaders to support them to manage change, manage employee performance and disciplinary matters, develop long term people strategies for the workforce and identify and manage talent and develop their leaders.
- Providing high level HR advice and case management support relating to performance and incapacity issues, disciplinary matters and complaint management.
- Preparing and contributing to the compilation of annual reports, ministerial briefings, papers and memorandums while adhering to departmental reporting requirements.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has the ability to develop and implement HR policy and strategy as well as experience in providing high level support to leaders regarding disciplinary and unsatisfactory performance matters. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Additionally, you will have knowledge of government legislations, policies, procedures and systems, particularly related to human resources inclusive of the Public Sector principles and practices as they apply to the scope of the role.
