DCP is seeking
a Group Manager, Employee Relations on a Full Time Term basis until 24 November 2023
Manager, Employee Relations is responsible for:
managing and providing advice and support on employee and industrial relations
issues as well as disciplinary matters to executive staff and key stakeholders
the Employee Relations strategy, platform and frameworks which are consistent
with contemporary HR philosophy and contribute to enhancing employment related
legislation and public sector employee relations policy.
the management of staff misconduct investigations as well as serious care
concerns involving foster, kinship and non-government carers and the advocacy
of matters before Commissioners, industrial forums or Tribunals.
To be successful in
this role, you will be an experienced IR/ER professional with strong
influencing, negotiation and communication skills. You will be outcome driven
with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. You
will have a relevant qualification and a demonstrated robust understanding of
the Australian industrial and employment landscape including the Fair Work Act
and National Employment Standards with a passion for providing high quality and
best practice support.
